Marble Temple Journey

Editorial Rating

Marble Temple Journey delivers the classic marble-shooter loop faithfully: aimed shots slid into the rolling chain, matches of three or more burst on contact, and a tutorial-guided volley drove the score from 0 to 40 with four marbles exploded on device. Turret swapping, 3000 stages and six power-ups are source-verified, and the lose path closed itself when an unattended chain reached the end hole. The trade-off is a long local cold start of about 7.5 seconds, dominated by the portal's minimum-length progress bar and a 5.5MB level table.

Overview

A chain of colored marbles rolls along a winding track toward the hole at its end, and a totem cannon at the center is the only thing standing in its way. Fire a marble into the chain, and when three or more of a color touch they burst, pulling the line back from the brink. The track never stops moving, so every shot is a small calculation of aim, color and timing. With a level map running to 3000 stages, the temple keeps raising the stakes long after the first chain falls.

Objective and input

How to Play

The cannon shows the marble you are about to fire. Aim along the track and tap to launch it into the rolling chain; matching three or more of the same color makes them pop, and when the gap closes new neighbors can match again for a chain reaction. Tap the cannon itself to swap the loaded marble with the next one in line. If the front of the chain reaches the end hole, the stage is lost; clear every marble to win. Later tracks wind tighter, move faster and mix more colors.

Desktop Controls

Move the mouse to aim the cannon and click to fire; click the cannon to swap the loaded marble with the next one. No keyboard bindings are used.

Mobile Controls

Tap where you want the marble to fly; the cannon fires toward your touch.

Tap the cannon to swap the current marble with the next one.

Glance at the loaded and next marbles before committing to a shot.

What stands out

Features

01

Classic marble-shooter rules

Match three or more of a color to burst them; the format is instantly familiar and still tense.

02

Chain reactions

Collapsing a middle group pulls the two ends together, and a fresh match on contact sets off a combo worth chasing.

03

Swap to set up shots

A tap on the cannon exchanges the loaded marble with the next one, turning a bad draw into a planned collapse.

04

A 3000-stage temple

The level map runs to 3000 stages, with six power-ups and ever-twistier tracks pacing the journey.

Gameplay Tips

  1. 1

Shoot into the middle of long same-color runs; a collapse there pulls the chain back the furthest.

  2. 2

Swap on the cannon instead of wasting a shot when neither color fits the chain.

  3. 3

Watch the tail as much as the head: clearing the back of the chain buys the most distance.

Common questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I lose a stage?

The stage is lost when the front of the marble chain reaches the hole at the end of the track.

What makes marbles disappear?

Groups of three or more touching marbles of the same color burst, and big collapses can cascade into combos.

Can I change the marble I am about to fire?

Yes. Tap the cannon to swap the loaded marble with the next one in line.

Is there any keyboard control?

No. Aiming, firing and swapping are done entirely with taps, or mouse clicks on desktop.
