Editorial Rating

A complete, approachable archery loop: press-hold-drag aiming, instant ring feedback and a star-rated challenge map. Early levels are undemanding and the presentation is plain in places, but the 3D range runs smoothly; 9.5-second cold starts are the main drawback.

Overview

World Archery League is a 3D target-archery game organized around levels with score targets. Challenge mode opens on a scrolling level map with star ratings, locked tiles and a heart meter, and each stage hands you a limited quiver: level one asks for 10 points from five arrows. Press and hold to draw the bow and the camera tightens in, drag to swing your aim across the range, and release to loose. Ring values report the instant the arrow lands — our playtest produced both a clean 'Miss' and a 10-point bullseye stuck in the gold. Beating the target opens a win panel that awards up to three stars.

Objective and input

How to Play

From the main menu tap Challenge and pick an unlocked tile on the level map. On the range, press and hold anywhere to nock an arrow — the view zooms as you draw. Drag to rotate your aim, then release to shoot. The HUD shows your running score, a Stage counter that tracks sub-stages inside the level, and the arrows you have left. Reach the point target before the quiver runs dry to clear the level and collect its star rating.

Desktop Controls

Hold the mouse button to draw, drag to swing your aim, and release to shoot; menu buttons and level-map tiles are plain clicks.

Mobile Controls

Press and hold on the screen to draw the bow, drag in any direction to aim through the full-screen touch area, and lift your finger to loose the arrow — at short range a plain hold-and-release already flies true.

What stands out

Features

01

Draw, aim, loose

A full-screen press-hold-drag gesture drives the bow, with a camera zoom that gives the draw a physical, deliberate feel.

02

Instant ring scoring

Shots report their ring value as soon as they land, from 'Miss' to a 10-point bullseye, so every arrow teaches you something.

03

Challenge map with star records

A scrolling map of stages keeps per-level star ratings, locks later tiles, and shows a 30-out-of-30 heart meter at the top.

04

Versus and shop entries

Beyond Challenge mode the main menu carries a 'Start' versus entry and a basket-icon bow shop, both visible from the first screen.

Gameplay Tips

  1. 1

Early targets sit close: a steady hold-and-release with barely any drag can already reach the gold on level one.

  2. 2

Mind the Stage counter — levels split into sub-stages, so spreading good arrows across all five beats one lucky shot.

  3. 3

A Miss is still information: note where the release landed before you spend the next arrow on fine aim.

Common questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you shoot an arrow?

Press and hold anywhere to draw the bow — the camera zooms in — drag to aim across the range, and release. The ring value shows as soon as the arrow lands.

What does a level ask of you?

A score target within a limited quiver. Level one gives five arrows to reach 10 points, with the HUD counting your sub-stages inside the level.

What do the stars mean?

Beating a level's target opens a win panel that awards one to three stars alongside your score, and the level map keeps those ratings on each tile.

What else is on the main menu?

Besides Challenge there is a 'Start' versus entry, a basket-icon shop, a gold balance and a sound toggle, all visible before you enter a level.
