Editorial Rating

A punchy one-thumb escort shooter on a sunny dinosaur island: holding to fire while dragging the crosshair onto the raptor packs chasing fleeing survivors is instantly readable, the comic intro and wooden Success and Failure signs frame each short level neatly, and coins, a five-level track with a skull boss marker, and a gun collection give the loop somewhere to go, though load times run long for a game this light.

Overview

Gang Shooting Wars is a portrait first-person escort shooter set on a tropical island laboratory. A comic-strip intro shows the dinosaurs breaking out of their tanks, and every level puts you behind a mounted gun above the beach. Blue survivors sprint out of the lab and down the sandy path while raptor packs burst from the doorway behind them. Hold your finger down, keep the crosshair on the chase, and gun the dinosaurs down before they reach the runners.

Objective and input

How to Play

Tap Play on the island home screen to start level one. Survivors run from the lab toward safety as raptors pour out after them. Touch and hold on the play field and the gun auto-fires at the white crosshair; while holding, drag your finger to slide the crosshair across the beach and keep it over the nearest dinosaur until it drops. Hits pay coins along the way, and the level ends with a Success sign and a coin reward once all three survivors make it out. If a single raptor catches a runner the Failure sign drops instead, and Retry takes you back to the home screen.

Gameplay Tips

  1. 1

Start holding the moment the level begins so the gun is already firing when the first raptors burst out of the lab.

  2. 2

Aim at the dinosaur closest to the survivors; the chase reaches the runners fast, and one caught runner fails the level.

  3. 3

Steer the crosshair with small drags instead of big swipes; short corrections track a sprinting raptor far better.

Common questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the goal in Gang Shooting Wars?

You man a mounted gun above a tropical island beach. Blue survivors sprint out of a lab while raptor packs chase them, and your job is to gun down the dinosaurs before they reach the runners. The level succeeds once all three survivors make it out; one caught runner means failure.

How does the shooting work?

Touch and hold on the play field and the gun auto-fires at the white crosshair. While holding, drag your finger to slide the crosshair across the beach and keep it over the nearest dinosaur until it drops. On desktop, hold the mouse button to fire and move the mouse to steer.

Is Gang Shooting Wars free, and do I need to download anything?

The game runs right in your browser — tap Play on the island home screen and level one starts. There is nothing to install, and hits pay coins along the way, with a coin reward on the Success screen at the end of each level.

What's the best way to stop raptors from catching the runners?

Start holding the moment the level begins so the gun is already firing when the first raptors burst out. Aim at the dinosaur closest to the survivors, and steer with small drags instead of big swipes — short corrections track a sprinting raptor far better.

Are there different weapons to use?

Yes. The home screen Shop fronts a gun collection, and weapon cards show firearms with different attack and fire-speed stats. The home track also runs from level 1 to 5, with a dinosaur skull boss marker waiting ahead.
