A pixel-art side-scrolling run-and-gun: six mission types across forty brutal arenas, a twenty-weapon armory to grind, and S-grades to chase - keep the knife swarm off your back and tap-fire for your life.
Metal Gun is a side-scrolling pixel-art shooter that drops a lone commando into arenas crawling with knife soldiers, gunners and armored brutes. Missions are picked from an island war map and graded from F to S, paying out coins and diamonds. Between sorties the armory sells new guns, characters, boosts and a pilotable mech, so even a failed run feeds the next attempt.

Objective and input
How to Play
Tap PLAY, then tap the red target marker on the island map to open a mission briefing - each card names a goal (kill a quota, survive a timer, guard a point, collect items or run a distance) and its coin reward. Accept to enter the armory, equip a loadout, and deploy. Enemies swarm from both sides: hold a direction arrow to keep your distance and tap the fire button for every shot. Fill the quota to win the payout and unlock the next day.
DESKTOP
Desktop Controls
Hold the left and right on-screen arrows with the mouse to run, and click the orange weapon button once per shot - the starter pistol is semi-automatic, not hold-to-fire.
This build ships no keyboard bindings, so the scraped A/D-plus-Space mapping could not be confirmed and is not listed; desktop play uses the portal's mouse-to-touch mapping and was not separately playtested.
MOBILE
Mobile Controls
Hold the left and right arrows at the bottom-left to run in either direction and dodge knife soldiers.
Tap the orange weapon button at the bottom-right to fire - one tap per shot, so keep a steady rhythm.
Tap the blue button above it to swap between equipped weapons.
Between missions, tap UPGRADE in the armory to raise a gun's CRIT, SPEED and POWER bars.

Gameplay Tips
1
Never let knife soldiers touch you - their melee melts a full health bar in seconds, so back away while firing.
2
The starter pistol needs about three body shots per soldier and is not automatic; tap in a steady rhythm.
3
Spend the daily-reward coins on your first weapon upgrade early - the POWER jump decides between a grade F and an S.
